The Henley Royal Regatta Campaign 2024

As the last major event of the year our senior men's 8+ attended HRR qualifiers and narrowly missed out on qualifying for The Temple Challenge cup as the second fastest non-qualifiers, we thank everyone for all their support in helping to get the squad to qualifiers this year and look forwards to building on this strong performance in the years to come.

We also hosted our anual alumni event at HRR and it was great to see such a big swansea turn-out, we'll be beack in the cricket club next year if you weren't able to attend this year. At out alumni event we also released the Alumni whatsapp community get in touch to be added. Tawe Pheonix are also looking to put together a 20th anniversary dinner in the september so keep a look out for updates.

BUCS regatta

This year the club took 46 athletes and 18 crews to BUCS. Every squad came out with great results to show the hard work that has been put in by our members this year. A full breakdown of results can be found on the instagram page so head over to have a look.

The Welsh Boat race 2024

Swansea was the overall Winner of The Welsh Varsity Boat Race!
Swansea 3 - 1 Cardiff

To start the day, our Novice Women put in a superb performance, racing Cardiff right to the line to take home the first win of the day.
Next up were the Novice Men, who came out on top after an excellent performance for Swansea’s second win on the day. A Win in the Alumni race showed the strength of our past members. The Senior Women put in a brilliant effort but could not secure the win this time around. To finish the day off, Swansea’s Senior Men showcased the strength of Men’s rowing at Swansea by extending their winning streak to 11 years.
